Work Experience

My journey into the world of supply chain management over the last two years has seamlessly merged my academic background with practice. As a Supply Chain Specialist, I've had the chance to navigate between theory and practice, channeling my academic insights to tackle real-world challenges. During my time in Golrang, the most prestigious industrial group in Iran, I have generated insightful quarterly reports, contributed to the launch of BPMS and BI servers, and skillfully negotiated with suppliers. This blend of academic pursuit and practical experience forms the backbone of my journey in optimizing supply chain dynamics.

Launch of BPMS and BI Systems

  • Successfully launched Business Intelligence and Business Process Management Systems in the international trade unit of the supply chain section, efficiently managing an average annual volume of 400 orders totaling around 2 million euros.
  • Replaced the previously scattered record-keeping system with the unified BPMS, streamlining order management and historical tracking.
  • Integrated BPMS with the BI system, enabling effortless customization of dimensions, measures, and filters for generating instant and accurate reports.
  • Reduced report generation time significantly, transforming what used to take days into a swift and reliable process, benefiting managers and partners.

Optimization of Monthly Allocation of Cartons

  • Optimized on average 100 billion IRR monthly process of carton allocation to 14 suppliers.
  • Developed a mathematical model and automated the process using GAMS, replacing manual allocation efforts.
  • Generated approximately 15 billion IRR in monthly savings through efficient allocation.
  • Achieved significant time savings by automating the end-of-month allocation process.
  • Ensured supplier diversification and reduced single-sourcing risks by setting allocation percentage limits.

Dynamic Performance Reporting and Supplier Management Enhancement

  • Developed and managed dynamic quarterly performance reports, addressing key managerial needs using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Highlighted remarkable cost savings achieved by the international trade unit utilizing comprehensive reports from 2022 and 2023 performance data, amounting to 270 billion IRR (approximately 650,000 Euro) in 1402 Persian year.
  • Facilitated supplier negotiation with comprehensive reports showcasing bonus amounts, new sourcing opportunities, and lead time reductions.
